1. DH got paid already for WLC! Woot! It feels good to have a second income again, and to know that we won't have to struggle and come down to the wire this month. Thank God! Now that DH is done with WLC and over his cold, I feel like things are getting back to normal with his moods, which is truly a Godsend. He's got his spunk back again. I'm hoping that since we have a little bit of extra cash this month, that we'll be able to do a date night this weekend. I don't think we've been on a solo, date-night type dinner since we've been in Colorado together. It's been that tough.
2. My belated birthday gift arrived today from my dad and his wife! My dad is an pretty amazing photographer [check out his portfolio here], so I knew I wanted his expertise when I asked Santa for a new digital camera. He picked out this beauty and I'm loving it so far, with what little time I've tested it. My current digicam is five years old at this point, and it leaves a little to be desired in terms of the quality of images I shoot. I am convinced that cell phone pictures take nicer shots than my camera.

4. My recruiter stopped by school to see me today, and I was thankful that I didn't have to take another trip to her office. At this point, we are left with the job hunt. She had really good things to say about how she's been going about my job search. She's trying to network with a friend in the employment office, and she says she hasn't looked at anything that she felt was beneath her, since she feels that with my qualifications I shouldn't settle. She says if she's able to get a job for me [split training is proving to be difficult to work out], I could be taking my enlistment oath as soon as Friday. DH is particularly interested in dressing up and being there for my oath. I can't wait to have him snap a few pictures of me! :)
5. After stressing about the IEP I had today, since I waited until the last possible minute to write it up, I'm looking forward to the rest of the week! I don't have another for a couple of weeks. This should be a pretty easy week. I don't have basketball duty, DH has a more relaxed school with an easier schedule, and we don't have any plans for the weekend. Thursday I'm heading to a conference with my work BFF, Haywee. Overall, I can't complain! Hope everyone else's weeks are off to a good start!
