#reverb10 Day 7 - Party

What social gathering rocked your socks off in 2010?  Describe the people, music, food, drink, clothes, shenanigans. - Shauna Reid

I'm really not much of a "partier" and it's too late in the evening to go into great detail about anything right now.  I'm really scratching my head and trying to think of what parties and social gatherings occurred in 2010.  I'll probably kick myself later for forgetting so-and-so's event.

I would be ungrateful if I didn't say all of the gatherings that Noelle and Tim and I had back in North Carolina.  [Shout out to my girl and an avid reader!]  Typically it was just the three of us, but sometimes we had another friend here or there.  We would hit the local country bar, get our dance on, and then come back to Noelle's place, typically to raid her cabinets, get her Goodendoodle Braxton fired up, play the Wii, and call it a night.  The music and clothes were always country, the food always involved processed cheese (or shakes from Cook Out), and the shenanigans involved more laughs than anything else.  I was so blessed to befriend these two and they really made our deployment an enjoyable experience.

In other news, Noelle is coming to see me in the new year and I'm really excited for her visit.  As Trinnie and I know, it isn't too often that you have a friend who's willing to step up and go that extra mile for you.  Love you Noelle!  <3

You are too sweet!! I have to say, (and I hope your other readers don't take this out of context)... but "who knew a deployment could be so much fun?!"
Seriously though, there is NO WAY I could have made it by myself. I mean, for one, think of all of that left over food I would have had!! (not to mention date less dinners!!)
Love you girl!

Hey, I don't care what anyone else thinks! If we're doing it together, then SIGN DH UP! He likes deploying anyway. :) We had a great time together, and spending time with you and Braxtonian was way better than eating alone all of those nights. Luckily FIL's here now, otherwise I'd be chowing solo again. Can't wait for you to come out here! I need to get thinking of my must-sees/dos for you!
