#reverb10 Day 6 - Make

What was the last thing you made?  What materials did you use?  Is there something you want to make, but you need to clear some time for it? - Gretchen Rubin

That's a really good question, actually.  It's been a while since I've done anything crafty, although I love being creative.  I guess the last thing I made was a non-handicraft.  I made the banner for my Etsy shop the other day.  It's nothing fancy, but I don't have really fancy software on my computer.  I used Paintbrush, a picture of a blue star banner that I'd found, and my sailor girl.  The sailor girl comes from a vintage pattern of mine.  I painstakingly "cut" her out with software a while back and saved her as a separate file.  I've always loved this outfit, even though I've never made it.  I did purchase the fabric for it though!

As for what I'd like to make, I'd like to finish the Christmas stockings that I started a couple years ago when I was in Fayetteville with DH for the holiday.  They're sitting in the dining room, ready to go!  They're from another vintage pattern of mine, with full 50's sparkles and sequins.  I'm going to get to them eventually.  Christmas projects that drag out kinda run in the family.  My mom had a tree skirt that she never finished, in all of my years as a child.  I saved her fabric and I vowed to finish it one day, as a gift for my dad.

I'm getting really bad at starting projects and never finishing them and never being motivated to do so! My scrapbook left off at AIT! Oops!
