Day 25 - The Reason You Believe You’re Still Alive Today

Gotta go with the one concept my old school Marine always refers to - "integrity."

I have been raised to treat myself and others fairly.  My mom set the example of being honest, direct, and straightforward.  Like DH says, "it's doing what's right all the time, even when no one is around."

How does this pertain to my being alive today?  Easy.  People without integrity make bad decisions, miss opportunities, and put themselves into troublesome positions.  If I lacked integrity, it's possible that I could've been a statistic - ended up committing crimes, found myself in jail, or even killed.  But I wasn't raised that way.  I was raised with integrity.  God bless my parents for that!
