MilSpouse Friday Fill-In #17

If you haven't seen these before, Wifey over at Wife of a Sailor does a weekly survey.  Join in on the fun!

1.  What are some things on your bucket list? (from New Girl on Post)  I started a Life List over at my beauty blog, Made-Up In America.  Let me list some fun stuff!
  • Go to Ireland with DH.  He wants to go to Dun Laoghaire really badly.
  • Take the honeymoon we never got.  Maybe one of those tropical vacations when your suite is over the water, like in Couples Retreat.
  • Go back to Korea (especially Jeju Island), since we didn't get to do much on the one time I was able to visit.
  • 1958 Edsel Bermuda
  • Visit all 50 states.  I believe I'm at 27 or 28.
  • Own a Spartanette trailer.
  • Do a kitchen remodel worthy of an HGTV show.
  • Completely ELFA my house.
  • Own an old station wagon, possibly an Edsel.
  • Own an Arts and Crafts bungalow.
  • Own a log cabin in the mountains.
  • Attend Myaamia Language Camp.
  • Renew my vows with DH.
  • Take a cruise on the QM2
2.  How long have you been a MilSpouse and where have you been stationed so far? (from Raising Roscoe)  August 2nd, 2007!  For a little over three years.  He's gone to Camp Red Cloud, South Korea, on an unaccompanied tour.  After that he went to Fort Bragg, NC.  Now we're not active and we're doing reserves at Fort Carson, CO.

3.  What is a list of songs that sums up your life so far? (from Confessions of a Sailor’s Wife)  Wow, you ready for this?  I love my music.  Enjoy, download, rock out!
  • My mom dying when I was 20 of ovarian cancer:
    • Ashley Gearing - "Can You Hear Me When I Talk To You?"

4.  What is your favorite kind of pizza?  Pepperoni and sausage!  Ideally at BJ's, with a house brewed root beer and a pizookie to follow!  Domino's is my favorite chain.

5.  What are three good things in your life right now?

  • Living in my big, beautiful new home with my loving husband and my awesome father-in-law
  • Loving my job and my co-workers!  I have a fantastic position right now and I'm really pleased with where I'm at.
  • Being in Colorado, period.  I'm near Trinnie, my BFF, and finally settling down in the place I've always wanted to live.

I love that the one thing worth commenting on was the Pizookie, LOL. I haven't had one since before June 2009, when I left California. Our family used to GOBBLE those up!

@Pamela - You're going to *love* ELFA! I didn't think it was very aesthetically pleasing at first, but it really grows on you. If I had the funds, I'd ELFA my whole house. Sign up for their email list and get notified when they do 30% off sales!

@Mrs. Monkey - Thanks for visiting! I was reading your blog earlier today!

I came here via the MilSpouse link up: I LOVE the woody station wagon! One day I hope to own a classic car, but my husband's rather partial to big trucks. *Sigh*

Thanks for visiting, L! My husband loves them big trucks too. We just got a new (used) diesel F350 with a long bed. It's HUGE. Luckily, mine loves making me happy, so I'm sure if I wanted one eventually, we'd go hunting for it. The woodies are a little more difficult, but there's a cool non-woodie one on eBay right now!
